I'm currently assisting a diversified holding company based in Abu Dhabi with their search for a Senior Accountant.

Your new role

Reporting to the Financial Controller and working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. This role holds responsibility for verifying, allocating, posting, and reconciling journal entries, assisting in budget preparation, preparing financial statements, computing taxes, coordinating and preparing for audits, analysing financial information and summarising financial status.

What you'll need to succeed

To be considered for this position, candidates must be qualified finance professionals holding certifications in ACCA, ACA, CPA, CIMA etc. with a degree in Accounting and Finance Related subjects.

Candidate must have:

- Experience using Oracle NetSuite is mandatory.
- Big 4 audit background
- Experience working in an investment firm or similar industries.
- Strong technical accounting background.
